Picking-up textiles from people’s homes increases the amount of textiles that are given a second life. The sales opportunities are unlimited as people love shopping and regularly clean their closets to make space for new items.
Collect
Large scale collecting of clothing is a profession and requires licenses/expertise. ReturnTex has collection bins (located in the partners depot) where the drivers can drop-off the collected recycling bags.
Sort
All the textiles we collect are high-quality sorted at certified sorting company in United Arab Emirates to be sure every piece finds a good, sustainable next destination.
Reuse & Recycling
Everything that can be worn or used again is recycled. Is something no longer wearable? Then the sorting company determines the best recycling destination based on the type of material and the condition of the textile.
How it works
Adding the collection of used textiles to your application increases orders, both deliveries ánd collection. Consumers are given two options: Combine the pick-up with ordering food or getting a package delivered or order a driver for pick-up only.
The driver gets paid a fixed amount per delivery. On top of that drivers can earn a commission by doing extra rides.
The return rate of consumers is increased by giving a discount on next delivery or pick-up. This creates a never ending loop of orders.

The driver pick-ups up the recycling bag. This pick-up can also be combines with delivery of food or packages.

Giving a second life to unwanted textiles from the United Arab Emirates, saves an enormous amount of greenhouse gas emissions; 3,43 CO2 reduction per kg re-used textile. Depending on the condition of the textile, it can either be reused in one of the global reuse countries or it can be feedstock for textile recycling.
With every KG of textile being collected, we get a step closer to closing the loop of the textile industry.
